Kevin Murcko has spent more than twenty years in markets, from retail FX trader to brokerage founder to founder and CEO of the Estonian digital-asset exchange Coinmetro. He now runs Soonish, a software studio building stablecoin and non-custodial infrastructure for regulated fintech, and co-hosts the weekly show Eavesdrop. He is based in Tallinn.

Kevin Murcko has worked in financial markets for more than twenty years. He traded currencies independently from 2002, then ran FXPIG, a retail FX brokerage registered in New Zealand and later licensed in Vanuatu, as CEO from 2009 to 2020. In 2017 he founded Coinmetro, a digital-asset exchange licensed in Estonia, and led it as CEO; he also co-founded the European Crypto Association, which worked on self-regulation for European exchanges. Coinmetro paused its services in June 2026; its reorganization is before the Estonian courts, and his statement on it is on the About page.

Today he runs Soonish, a software studio building stablecoin and non-custodial infrastructure for regulated fintech, advises founders and boards on market structure and licensing, and co-hosts Eavesdrop, a weekly unscripted conversation on money, power and tech. He has spoken at Bitcoin Amsterdam, the European Blockchain Convention, AIBC, Blockchain Life and Nordic Fintech Week, and was a guest lecturer at TalTech. He is based in Tallinn.
